![]() We hope that data is not duplicated but we did see it happening sometimes. ![]() Therefore, during the copy of the data to the new iCloud location, we set astrological charts previously saved to be either Tropical or Sidereal based on whatever earlier global setting was found for your install. In order to transition to this we had to copy data from the old iCloud location to the new iCloud location and also added support for the fact that astrological charts can now be Tropical, Sidereal, Topocentric or Heliocentric on an individual basis. This release of iPhemeris uses Apple’s newest CloudKit technology to store chart data to iCloud (at your option). Existing owners of that In-App purchase will find it enabled in various places throughout the software. Heliocentric and Topocentric data is now available to owners of the Extended Ephemeris feature (see iPhemeris store). In the case of astrology charts, a sidereal chart can be compared to a tropical or even a heliocentric or topocentric chart. The Ayanamsa setting is still global. It is now possible to display most features and individual charts as either Sidereal or Tropical. The major change in this release was the transition of the Sidereal setting to no longer being a global setting. Heliocentric & Topocentric capabilities are included as part of the “Extended Ephemeris” In-App purchase. The Tropical / Sidereal settings is no longer global, and can be set for each feature and for individual charts.NOTE: Please update iPhemeris on all Apple devices to Version 4.2 on MacOS and Version 11.2.1 on iOS. It also addresses various minor issues including issues displaying long Horoscope names and some application instability.See the documentation section on iPhemeris Preferences. This version adds the capability to use the same settings for which planets & points are displayed in each feature on all your devices (iOS & MacOS) or selectively some and not others. ![]()
